Google reviews are what makes people choose one salon over another. The studio includes a guide that walks you from finding your listing to the request sent automatically after every appointment.

The five steps, in order

The five steps, in order.
The five steps, in order.

Each one takes just a few minutes, but the order matters: without your listing's ID, the following steps have nothing to work with. Paste it into the Google Reviews tab of the Reviews screen: you get a link that opens the review window in one click.

Your collection link.
Your collection link.

This address opens the review window of your Google listing directly, with no need for the client to search for you. This is the link the after-appointment message sends — slip it into your post-visit thank-you.

The rules not to cross

The rules not to cross.

Asking every client is allowed; offering a discount for a review, or only asking happy ones, is not. Google removes reviews obtained this way and can penalise your listing.

And after that

Reply to reviews, even the bad ones: a calm reply under a negative review reassures more than ten perfect ones. Reviews already posted on Google show up in the Reviews screen — they stay on Google, they never mix with your site's reviews.

Frequently asked questions

Where should I start?

With your Google listing's ID: without it, the following steps have nothing to work with. Paste it into the Google Reviews tab of the Reviews screen.

Can I offer a discount for a review?

No. It's forbidden: Google removes reviews obtained this way and can penalise your listing. You can ask every client, but never pay for the request.

Do Google reviews mix with those on my site?

No. They stay on Google and only show up in the Reviews screen, never mixed with your site's reviews.
