A client who doesn't know you yet is looking for a salon nearby on buiiild.com: this is the listing she finds. It's public, and it's your showcase to people who have never heard of you.

What the public sees

What the public sees: photo, name, address.
What the public sees: photo, name, address.

Your photo, your name, your address — as entered in Contact details. A wrong address here, and a client rings the wrong doorbell: it's the first thing to check.

Your services and prices

Your services and prices: only active services appear.
Your services and prices: only active services appear.

Only active services appear, with their public price. A service you don't want shown is disabled in Services — never by changing its price.

Going to see the real listing

The button opens your listing exactly as it's published. Look at it from a phone: that's where most clients will discover you.

A photo, up-to-date services, recent reviews: these three things are what put you ahead of the salon next door. None of them cost anything.

Frequently asked questions

How do I fix a wrong address on my listing?

It comes from your Contact details: fix it there, and your directory listing updates automatically.

Why doesn't a service show up on my listing?

Only active services appear. Check that it's properly turned on in Services.

Can I pay to rank higher in the directory?

No: none of the criteria that decide your ranking cost anything. Only a photo, up-to-date services and recent reviews count.

How do I remove a service from the directory without changing its price?

Disable it in Services rather than changing its rate: it disappears from the public listing without affecting what your other clients pay.
