Frequently asked questions
Does a gift card expire?
Yes, if it has a validity date: once that date has passed, its status changes to "Expired" and it can no longer be used for payment. Validity is set in Loyalty › Gift cards.
I sold a card by mistake, can I cancel it?
Yes, with a credit note: the card then moves to "Cancelled" status and can no longer be used as a means of payment.
Why does a card show "Pending"?
An order placed online held it while being paid. It becomes usable again as soon as the order is paid or abandoned.
What do I need before I can sell gift cards online?
A connected payment account — Stripe, PayPal or Viva — and templates with their validity set in Loyalty › Gift cards.
Can I use Stripe and PayPal at the same time?
No, only one provider at a time: compare the commission and transfer delay of each before choosing.
Can my clients buy a gift card without coming to the salon?
