Finding a card

Finding a card by code or by name.
Finding a card by code or by name.

Search by code or by the name of the person the card is for. This is the counter move: someone puts down their gift card, you check what's left on it in two seconds.

All cards sold

Each line shows the remaining balance next to the original amount.

StatusWhat it means
ActiveThere's balance left, validity is running.
Used upEverything has been used.
ExpiredThe validity date has passed.
CancelledThe card was cancelled with a credit note.
PendingAn online order held it while being paid. It becomes usable again as soon as the order is paid or abandoned.

The life of a card

The sale that issued it, then each use with its date and amount, each linked to its receipt. Facing a client who disputes their balance, you show the exact line rather than a total.

Frequently asked questions

Does a gift card expire?

Yes, if it has a validity date: once that date has passed, its status changes to "Expired" and it can no longer be used for payment. Validity is set in Loyalty › Gift cards.

I sold a card by mistake, can I cancel it?

Yes, with a credit note: the card then moves to "Cancelled" status and can no longer be used as a means of payment.

Why does a card show "Pending"?

An order placed online held it while being paid. It becomes usable again as soon as the order is paid or abandoned.

Can my clients buy a gift card without coming to the salon?

Yes, from your site, paid online into your account: see Selling gift cards online.
