Reserve a time when no one can book an appointment: a break, a meeting, a half-day, for the stylist concerned, once or every week.

A blocked slot is a time when no one can book an appointment, either online or at the salon: the lunch break, a team meeting, a training session, a half-day off. It takes just a few seconds to set up from the calendar, for the stylist concerned.

Setting a block

  1. In the calendar, click Block a slot, next to the Add button.
  2. Choose the reason: Break, Meeting, Time off or Other. It's what shows on the slot, so the whole team understands.

  3. Set the day, then the start time and the end time.
  4. Choose who it's for: the stylist concerned.
  5. Click Block this slot. The slot immediately becomes unavailable for online booking.

Repeating a block

The same break every day, the same meeting every week: tick Repeat this block before saving, and choose the frequency.

Removing a block

The block appears in Team schedule, and that's where you remove it once it's no longer needed.

Frequently asked questions

Can I block several stylists at once?

A block applies to one stylist: set one per person, each chair keeps its own calendar.

A client already had an appointment on this slot

Move or cancel the appointment from their record first, then set the block.

The block doesn't appear on the site

That's normal: the site never shows blocks, it simply removes those hours from the slots on offer.
