The period, first
Everything that follows depends on it. Use exactly your pay period: a one-day shift moves a sale from one month to the other, and the gap ends up on the payslip.
What the calculation is based on
This sentence says which sales are counted and which date they're tied to. Read it once and for all: it's what explains discrepancies with your till.
The total to pay out
The sum of commissions for the period, across everyone. This is a gross commission amount: contributions and the rest of the salary don't enter into this calculation.
The detail by person
Unfold a line to see, day by day, where the amount comes from. This is the detail you show a team member who disputes it: there's nothing hidden behind the total.
The rules
The Rules tab sets the percentages — on services, on products, or a fixed amount per visit — for the whole salon or person by person. Changing a rule changes the calculation: reopen the report after changing it, before announcing a figure.
