The salon's stock
What your shelf is worth, finding a product, reading on-hand / promised / sellable, and the day's actions: receiving, counting, exporting, new product.
In this article
Stock tracks every product on the shelf: what you have, what it cost you, what it will bring in, and what's already promised to an online order. A till sale brings it down on its own; a delivery brings it up.

What your shelf is worth

The units you have, what they cost you, what they'll bring in once sold, and the margin left between the two. As soon as an online order reserves a product, the promised share shows here too.
Finding a product

Type a name or a reference, or narrow the list to a category, a brand or a supplier. Filters stack.
On hand, promised, sellable
On each line: what's on the shelf (on hand), what's already promised to an order in progress, and what's actually still left to sell. Open a product's page to declare the supplier, the weight and the dimensions shipping needs — it's the same page as the online shop's.
Everything that moves around the shelf

The tabs lead to deliveries received, products used in the back, past counts, promises made to clients, supplier orders and your suppliers themselves.
The day's actions

Recording a delivery, starting a count, exporting the list for your accountant, or creating a product.
Frequently asked questions
Can I change a quantity directly on the product page?
No, the quantity only changes through a tracked movement: a delivery, a stock exit or a count. That's what keeps an explanation behind every change.
What is the "promised" quantity?
These are products already reserved by a paid online order, before pickup. They're physically on the shelf but no longer for sale: see Reserved products.
How do I find a specific product on a large shelf?
Type a name or a reference, or narrow the list to a category, a brand or a supplier. The filters stack.
Where do I declare a product's weight for delivery?
On its page, the same one as the online shop's: open the product from stock to enter the supplier, the weight and the dimensions.

The name you'll read at the counter, the sale and purchase prices, the alert threshold, the quantity on the shelf and the supplier to reorder from.
Stock and suppliersRecording a deliveryThe wholesaler's box is on the counter: enter it and stock goes up. Purchase price excluding or including tax as on the invoice, the reason for the entry, the receiving log.
Stock and suppliersDoing a countA count is no longer a single-pass entry: a sheet you open, fill in over several passes, and validate once the shelf is done.
